Since both my kids play a traditional Chinese instrument called the Dizi, I have been working a bit on a wind instrument synthesizer that captures most of this unique instrument; from fluttering (retroflex), vibrato, to the characteristic dimo resonance.
Now available for Logue OSC devices, like the Korg NTS1 mkII.
